Why has Kentucky abandoned the mandatory reporting of spousal abuse and retained the mandatory reporting of child abuse. Do you approve of the split approach? If yes why, and if no why?
According to KRS 620, the law of Kentucky says that there must be mandatory reporting of any child abuse, child neglect and child dependency cases. The reporting is done to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
